The starting point for HYPERSENSES is the final piece of The Lady and the Unicorn, one of the most fascinating tapestry series from the 15th century. In a time of overstimulation and mental noise, Laika and Zefiro Torna invite you to truly feel what you feel. Can tastes become audible? Colors tangible? Scents visible? Live electro-acoustic music intertwines with bewitching 15th-century melodies, images merge into scents, textures into sounds. The brain is subtly thrown off balance; that is exactly where the experience begins. After their alchemical laboratory BALSAM, Laika and Zefiro Torna join forces again. Concept van Jurgen De Bruyn and Peter De Bie, with a team that forges music, scenography, light, and body into one layered sensory installation. The result? An immersive intoxication in which nothing is what it seems. Come with all your senses. And definitely open your heart. This performance takes place on stage with unnumbered seats.
