They sometimes say that Bach should have been called “Fluss” (River), so rich was his talent. Especially his passions and organ works are very well known, more than his compositions for a small ensemble. In this program, we present to you some works for violin and harpsichord, instruments that Bach both played. These gems are often bundled in groups of six and testify to Bach's ambition to compose musical pieces that are of a particularly high level, both technically and musically, in addition to his livelihood.
