Memory of the Waters: a ritual for the departed

Mémoire des Eaux : un rituel pour les disparu.e.s July 2026 will mark the fifth anniversary of the terrible floods that struck the province of Liège in the summer of 2021. Five years after the tragedy, Théâtre de Liège and NTGent wish, in partnership with the affected towns and villages, to commemorate this dramatic event through an artistic experience with a ritual dimension, conceived as an act of symbolic reparation. An individual ritual imagined by Barbara Raes, which will notably make a stop in Limbourg (Church of Our Lady of Visitation de Dolhain) from Wednesday, June 10 to Sunday, June 14 inclusive.
