Bike ride between railway embankment and Zavelput

The bicycle tour 'Tussen Zavelput and Railway verge' is a recreational route of 27.5 km that leads you through the green surroundings of Waregem and the neighboring municipalities of Zulte and Wielsbeke. It is a flat and easy bicycle tour. You cycle along the greenery, the Gaverbeekse Meersen, the Leie, Ooigembos, the towpath along the Leie, and of course the well-known nature reserves the 'Oude Spoorwegberm' and the 'Zavelput'. At regular intervals, there will be stops for text and explanation. Departure: 2 PM at parking Park Casier, Marcel Windelsstraat. Bring: appropriate cycling clothing, fully functional bicycle.
