Welcome to the big ‘Death, why death?’ show in which a Master of ceremony leads us through everything that has to do with death: famous last words, a condolence rally, Death itself as a special guest, and guests who let their talents crackle from the afterlife. While this absurdist spectacle takes place, an imminent loss slips in irreversibly elsewhere at the same time. What do you do with the time that remains? How do you say goodbye and how do you move on? Where on earth is the manual for this? Death, why death is a performance in which the love for life is more palpable than ever. Full of playfulness and humor that relativizes nothing, the actors make the great themes of life bearable. Hendrik Van Doorn, Ilse de Koe (known for her work at Studio Orka and her role in Bevergem), and Julie Delrue, whom you could admire in CCHA with her solo Mamamanie (2024) or last season in the hilarious SKETCH!
