Harvest Festival

From the end of May to the end of June, Mechelen comes to life again with an inspiring wave of creativity. Young talent and graduates from art education proudly display their work during numerous exhibitions and showcase moments – the rich “Harvest” of a year full of imagination, growth, and artistic discoveries. For the first time, this versatile offering has been brought together in one clear brochure. In it, you will discover what Academie Mechelen, Conservatorium Mechelen, IKA, Thomas More, and Beiaardschool Mechelen have to offer in terms of art. An invitation to be surprised, inspired, and immersed in the creative heart of our city. We cordially invite you to the Oogstfeest on Thursday, June 4. Between 6 PM and 11 PM, we will provide performances, music, and a warm atmosphere in De Garage. For the festive launch of Harvest, Kunsthal Mechelen Lokroep extends an invitation. Lokroep is a young Mechelen-based cultural collective that experiments in a multidisciplinary way with art and collectivity. They form a springboard for young makers and will fill the evening with performances and music. Come by, get a taste of the talent, and celebrate with us.
