Book presentation 'Jos Janssens' by Jef Verrezen

'Jos Janssens, the story of' the gentleman farmer who left "becoming a writer" by the wayside'. Jos Janssens, the farmer who had wanted to be a writer, worked with Jef Verrezen to create a book in which his life and work are briefly sketched. A life sketch that we discover by reading the speeches, poems, and letters he wrote. Jos wanted to preserve those writings for posterity through a book. In the book, we follow how his business grew and how he, together with his family, overcame setbacks nonetheless. He dared to invest in his business - against his father's wishes - and managed to elevate it into a modern dairy farm. He was able to pass on his dedication and enthusiasm to his children and grandchildren, so that they are now all involved in the business and each have a task they are good at. The book presentation will take place on Tuesday, June 2 at 7 PM in the Westerlo town hall.
