Animator course with Kazou

Always wanted to become a (Kazou-)animator? Then we have the certified basic course for animator especially for you! This will take place during the autumn holiday 2026. The course takes place every day in De Kriekelaar in Schaarbeek from 8:45 in the morning until 18:00 in the evening. We are a group of 15 students and 3 insanely enthusiastic instructors. In an interactive and playful way, you will be given the necessary baggage to be an animator for the first time in the summer. Basiscursus Quartier Kazou Brussel, for whom is that? Our basic course 2026 is open to everyone born in 2010 or earlier. You are therefore 16 years old at the start of the course, or you will turn 16 in 2026. Do you love to animate children and young people? Then apply! We organize a certified course with Kazou, recognized by the Flemish government. The path to the certificate 'animator in youth work' consists of 3 steps: STEP 1: You follow the basic course at Kazou within the association of the region where you live. It is important that you can be present for the entire period of the course. Early departure and late arrival is not possible. STEP 2: You do your internship at 1 of the Kazou holidays, De Kriekelaar or at another recognized youth work organization and are guided from the preparation to the end of this internship. STEP 3: You receive a final evaluation, if it is positive, you will receive your certificate of 'animator in youth work'. Price 70 euros. As a resident of Schaarbeek, you get 50 euros back from the municipality after completing the course.
