Walk Gemp (7 km)

Until the 18th century, Gemp was the center of Sint-Joris-Winge, a crossroads of the Leuven-Diest and Aarschot-Tienen connecting roads. All explanations about the former brewery, the listed bridge over the Molenbeek, the former fish breeding pond, and the Gempemolen (Gemp Mill). Along the way, our attention will be focused on the Our Lady chapel on the water well, the golf course of Winge Golf & Country Club, the sunken lanes, and the importance and strength of iron sandstone. Via Via de Bensberg, Troostemberghbos, and the Wingherheydepad, we will reach the densely populated Gnome House.
