Guided walk - Summer nature walk in the Boelaremeersen

In the mood for a relaxing walk in the middle of nature? Join us on Saturday, July 25 , on a voyage of discovery from provincial domain De Gavers to the beautiful Boelaremeersen in Schendelbeke. During this guided walk of approximately 6 km, we explore the unique, wooded Dender Valley. Along the way, we enjoy wet thickets, reed beds, valley groves, and flower-rich meadows. With a bit of luck, we will spot special birds such as the bluethroat and see storks nesting in the area. This walk is also ideal for families with children from 5 years old. Don't expect haste, but plenty of enjoyment of peace, silence, and the many natural sounds along the way. Let yourself be surprised by this hidden piece of nature close to home! Practical: You can buy tickets online. The walk is 6 km long and starts at the information point in the central part of the domain (right next to the Gaversbad). The walk is possible for children from 5 years old. Sturdy waterproof footwear or boots are definitely recommended, as the paths can be quite damp. ,
