Bruno Vanden Broecke - Confessie Lasse Vonck has been proclaimed and acclaimed as a prodigy by press and public as a young artist. Thirty years later, that is no longer the case. That people have forgotten him over the years, he finds a fate to be borne, but he is lost, he is looking for a goal, meaning. On a spring day without luster, Lasse is so alienated from himself upon waking that he no longer really knows who he is. He can't even speak anymore. Confession is inspired by the timeless and peerless story De Gedaanteverwisseling van Franz Kafka. It sketches a portrait of man as a silent protest. Raven Ruëll wrote this new theater text especially for Bruno Vanden Broecke. The two makers have been working together for twenty-five years and previously made performances such as Missie, Para, and Klink.
