Wamen - RUCHE Tour

Wamen is a Franco-Cameroonian artist drawing inspiration from both African and European traditions. Think of performers like Nina Simone, Édith Piaf and Jacques Brel. Her music is organic and straightforward, yet rich in complex emotions. Her work revolves around words: direct, poetic and deeply emotional. Wamen tells stories of love, loss and the fractures of a generation. With songs like “Discipline”, she also shows her fighting spirit, tackling social issues such as sexism head-on.
