Along the Senne

Brussels was born thanks to a river: the Senne. While, nowadays, it has largely disappeared from the Brussels landscape, it is nonetheless still present. From Anderlecht, where the river is still visible, to Schaerbeek, with the new Senne park, this walk will take you to discover a river that is still precious to the Belgian capital. The course of the Senne and its history will be evoked by following in particular the canal whose surroundings, in recent years, have been largely developed in favor of cyclists. You will thus discover that, even in an urban area, nature is never very far away!
