New destination for Malfait brewery

Explore a building that constantly reinvented itself through time. During a guided tour you will discover the rich history of this former brewery. The former Malfait brewery in Gentstesteenweg was given many new lives. Already around 1840, the then ‘au fabourg de Gant’ was a beloved stopping place on the edge of Kortrijk. Horse traders in particular found shelter in this inn, until an airplane bomb heavily damaged the building in 1918. Na de Eerste Wereldoorlog the property rose again and was given a new destination through the decades: from residence and brewery to café, bar, and restaurant. Especially the typical brewery buildings were beautifully restored. A place imbued with the DNA of Kortrijk!
