Guided tour

We offer two types of heritage-based guided tours in the Oude Abdij: a tour entirely inside the building with an emphasis on the history of and life in the abbey, and a tour in the abbey garden and the park that tells the history and significance of the Oude Abdij in a different way from the art heritage. In addition, we offer a third type of tour that focuses on nature in our beautiful abbey garden. Together with a nature guide, you will go out and discover the rich biodiversity of fauna and flora and the surprising beauty of nature, right in the heart of Drongen Na the tour you can chat over a coffee or tea. Upcoming tours Always starting at 2 PM - end expected around 4 PM: September 6 December 6 You can choose between the heritage-based or the Natuurpunt walk: The heritage-based guided tour with a guide (inside the buildings of the Oude Abdij) The tour in the garden with a nature guide from Natuurpunt vzw Cost: 10 euros p.p. Children up to & including 11 years free. Young people up to 18 years 5 euros.
