Concert 'Sonetos del Amor Oscuro' by Myrddin, Casella, Kuppens & Bracaval Hunnegemkapel

Sonetos del Amor Oscuro is a tribute to the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca (1898 – 1936). For this project, the virtuoso flamenco guitarist Myrddin De Cauter brought together some special musicians. De Belgisch-Brazilian singer Helena Casella lends her warm, deep voice to Lorca’s poetry, drawing from her roots in soul, R&B, Brazilian music, and modern jazz. Stijn Kuppens uses the cello in his own unique way, transcends genres, and lets his instrument speak. Stefan Bracaval , a classically trained flutist and jazz improviser, brings lyricism and freedom to the sound. Together, they take the audience, via Lorca’s poetry, on a fairytale journey full of echoes of Granada, Moorish melodies, and soft lullabies. Admission: 15€ - with Season Ticket 2026: 10€
