Jean and Jenny De Bie always take a few weeks off in the spring. Until recently, always to the same place, the Spaanse Calpe so beloved by Jean. Last year, however, due to circumstances, they had to stay in their own country. Jenny liked this ‘staycation’ so much that this year she booked a walking holiday at ‘De Molse Meren’. This, of course, very much against Jean's wishes, but Jenny's will is law. When family friend Alex pops in quickly on the day of departure, Jean sees an opportunity to postpone this departure somewhat. Alex, however, does not intend to stay long; his mistress is waiting for him in the car. Jenny must certainly not run into her because she is the best friend of Rita, Alex's wife. If this happens due to circumstances, all hell breaks loose and both bosom buddies have to twist themselves into a thousand knots to save themselves from this situation. But whether they succeed ….? OOST WEST THUIS BEST is a situational comedy pure and simple: Full of misunderstandings, sustained lies, and wonderfully recognizable characters.
