Fascinating and varied day trip.
In the morning, we will pay an exclusive visit to the Eqwal Ability Service Center in Oostakker. We will gather at 8:30 AM at the city hall and depart at 8:45 AM towards Oostakker, where we will arrive around 9:30 AM. There, we will be warmly welcomed with a cup of coffee, after which we will get a unique look behind the scenes during a tour of the company - from production to showroom. After this inspiring visit, we will enjoy lunch at 12:30 PM at the nearby restaurant Het Klaverblad. In the afternoon, we will continue our trip towards the castle of Laarne, about a twenty-minute drive from the restaurant. Around 3:00 PM, we are expected for a special witch walk with a movie guide. During this experience, we will take a journey back in time to the dark period of the 17th century, when witch tortures took place in the castle tower in Laarne. People who deviated from social norms were persecuted there, often without others daring to intervene for fear of reprisals. In addition to this gripping story, we will also discover the castle itself, a beautifully preserved medieval water castle. The impressive rooms, such as the chapel with medieval wall paintings, the atmospheric courtyard, and the rooms with a unique silver collection, make for an unforgettable end to the day. Interested?
