L-Tours in Sint-Gillis: Marian Lens x Bibliotheek Sint-Gillis

Curious about the hidden history of the LGBTQIA+ community in Saint-Gilles? Then this guided walk is the ideal outing! Welcome to the library from 10:00 AM. The walk departs at 10:30 AM with Marian Lens, lesbian & feminist activist. Together with the library and funds from Egalité des Chances of the Municipality of Saint-Gilles, we are organizing these walks as part of PRIDE Month. On Saturday, May 23rd, the walk will take place in Dutch. On Saturday, June 6th, the walk will be in French. On Saturday, June 20th, the walk will be in English. The walk ends around 12:30 PM, and there is the opportunity to return to the library. Marian Lens shared her favorite books with us, which you can find at the themed display! We will provide time for coffee, cookies, and a good conversation. Thanks to funding from the Equal Opportunities department of the Municipality of Saint-Gilles, this walk is free, but places are limited. You can register on the L-Tours website.
