"Art Nouveau - Beauty that Connects" Roundtable Discussion to mark World Art Nouveau Day

Wed, 10 Jun 2026
Hungarian House Brussels, Brussels
On Hungarian initiative, the World Art Nouveau Day is celebrated since 2013. This year, the central theme as defined by the Reseau Art Nouveau Network (RANN) is women in Art Nouveau – creators, artists who were active during the Art Nouveau period, but whose names often sink into oblivion. In our days many women are also connected to the Art Nouveau style in some way, whether in their personal or professional lives. In order to mark this event, a roundtable discussion is organized by Dorka Demeter, Art Nouveau influencer (@magic.of.artnouveau & @artnouveau.brussels), where we will hear from women who are connected to Art Nouveau in their everyday life, whether as experts, Art Nouveau house owners or art connoisseurs. They will share their personal experiences about why this style is important to them and how they build bridges through it. There could be no more fitting venue for the event than the Hungarian House with one of the most famous Art Nouveau stained glass windows in town. 18.30: Doors open 19.00: Roundtable discussion 20.30: Reception Participants of the discussion: Erika Giuliani, coordinator of the Reseau Art Nouveau Network (RANN) Anne Moermans, owner of Maison Devalck Luca Tips, art dealer & advisor Moderated by Dorka Demeter, Art Nouveau influencer (@magic.of.artrnouveau & @artnouveau.brussels) Entrance is free, however, a 10 EUR donation is welcome that will contribute to launching the new website of the Hungarian House in Brussels – a stunning Art Nouveau gem that is reinventing itself and opening its doors as an event venue.
