On Friday evening, July 10, we will kick off our Flemish holiday in style. We will be welcoming the popular Clouseau cover band ‘Vonken en Vuur’ for an evening full of atmosphere and countless sing-along moments. Clouseau has been a fixture in the Belgian and Dutch music world for decades. With hits like Anne, Domino, Swentibold, and Daar gaat ze, they have captured the hearts of young and old. Vonken en Vuur brings these classics to life in a way that is guaranteed to make the audience and organizers feel, sing along, and enjoy. Led by singer Nick Beernaert, an experienced frontman with years of stage experience, every show becomes a celebration of recognition and emotion. Together with a professional team of musicians, Vonken en Vuur provides a whirlwind performance, with an eye for detail and respect for Clouseau's original work. On July 10, however, the Clouseau tribute band will not be alone on stage. The young rascals of Galaxy Rockers get to warm up the stage. Deze Vlaamse rock band brings, as they say themselves, fluorescent mother-tongue rock with sugar peaks and valleys. They have already performed this on numerous stages in Deinze, Ghent, Bruges, and even Genk. Does their name not ring a bell? Then that of the grandparents of 2 of the musicians certainly will. Joost and Kaat Vanfleteren and Jan and Daisy Stragier are the proud grandparents of 2 of these musical teenagers.
