Guided walk: Experience the taste of Itterbeek

From May to September, we head into nature and heritage with the Uit Stappen. For five Sundays, you can enjoy beautiful walks, fascinating stories, and a touch of beer culture in Dilbeek. Want Dilbeek has a rich beer tradition – from hoppy fields to artisanal brewers, from disappeared pubs to contemporary breweries where craftsmanship is still very much alive. Our guides will take you to places you would otherwise just walk past, tell anecdotes you won't hear elsewhere, and let you experience Dilbeek with all your senses. Walk along in September in Itterbeek, where history and landscape go hand in hand. In the heart of the village lies brewery Timmermans, active since 1702 and a fixture in the local story. Traditional lambic is still brewed here, typical of the region. During this walk, you will discover how place, craft, and community continue to strengthen each other through the centuries. Walk along, taste the tradition, and experience how Itterbeek brings its beer culture back to life.
