Arditti Quartet, Yaron Deutsch, Stefan Prins

The legendary Arditti Quartet, for 52 years the standard-bearer of the contemporary string quartet repertoire, is a guest at Transit with a special program. Voor de Belgische premiere of Cyborg Flesh by the Flemish composer Stefan Prins, they will be joined by guitarist Yaron Deutsch and the composer himself for an epic clash between string quartet and crackling electronics. With the latest quartet by Chaya Czernowin, they prove that even without electronics, the contemporary quartet repertoire can sizzle firmly.
