Christmas concert

The chamber orchestra of Frascati Symphonic  Hortus Musicalis Sopraan Elke Janssens conducted by Kris Stroobants Kom to an unforgettable Christmas concert! Let yourself be enchanted by an afternoon full of beautiful Christmas music and festive sounds on December 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the beautiful Sint-Jan-de-Doperkerk in the Begijnhof in Leuven. Enjoy a breathtaking selection of Christmas classics, including works by Bach, Vivaldi, Hammerschmidt, G.F. Händel. ​ In addition, we bring beautiful Christmas melodies such as Stille Nacht and Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming. Unique to this concert is that we also invite the audience to sing along with the orchestra and choir with five well-known Christmas carols. ​ As a soloist, we invite soprano soloist Elke Janssens, who, together with the talented musicians and singers of the chamber orchestra of Frascati Symphonic and choir Hortus Musicalis, promises this afternoon to be a special experience.
