De Beeuwsaertmolen is in good hands today with the millers Antoon Verstraete and Germain Depuyt. Op Open Monumentendag they will tell you everything about the special history of the mill and how this unique heritage is kept running!
De Beeuwsaertmolen goes back almost 400 years and was destroyed several times in the past, by storm winds, war, and fire. But time and again it rose from its ashes. This was also the case after the Eerste Wereldoorlog when the Beeuwsaertmolen was rebuilt. After heavy storm damage in the 1970s, the mill was completely restored in 2010.
Today the mill is in good hands with millers Antoon Verstraete and Germain Depuyt, who keep this heritage running with passion! Op Open Monumentendag Antoon and Germain will tell you everything about the history of the mill and the age-old technique of milling.
Be sure to come by and discover this special piece of heritage!
