Angry Spirits - LAZARUS

Idiot, Karamazov, Crime and Punishment… De Lazari have become true Dostoevsky specialists over the years. As a final piece in the adaptation of his four great novels, LAZARUS got to work with Boze Geesten, by far the most political of the four. The story takes place in a small, wealthy community in the countryside, where the peace is disturbed when the young generation wants to unleash a revolution out of dissatisfaction. Their approach is reckless and destructive, without a concrete plan for the future. Nihilists and socialists, God and the old power structures… Evil spirits and demonic innocence alternate in a parade of passionate characters who come to fight for their honor and their faith (even those who believe they believe in nothing).
