Jef is peace-loving and indecisive, Marica is unwavering and combative. The two have nothing in common… or do they? The Cyr wheel (a huge titanium hoop) brings them together, just as a magnet attracts two opposing forces. They stand on opposite sides of the same wheel and that is where they meet: somewhere between acrobatics and juggling. Each in their own way: one approaches it through balance, the other through the fall. Instead of making compromises, they use their contrasts as a creative engine.
Amidst confrontation and connection, the wheel undergoes a constant transformation, highlighting the sincerity of circus.
In Difference is a physical and purposeful journey, in which the wheel slowly comes to life and gains an existence of its own.
Our tip:
Everaert and Marinoni master the art of the Cyr wheel (a huge titanium hoop) like no other and take circus to a higher level.
