FES, YES! The Orchestra

New repertoire, the next mutation What happens when the young and old talents of FES join forces to devise a new full-length repertoire? This is exactly what is set to happen in FES, YES! The Orchestra, the FES repertoire due to be launched in the spring of 2027. Peter Delannoye, Gert-Jan Dreessen, Wim Segers, Pauline Leblond, Maarten Flamand, Rob Banken, Benjamin Boutreur, Bruno Vansina, Peter Vandenberghe and Bart Maris are piecing together bits and bobs, each in their own distinctive way, and within the orchestra’s creative incubator, the new material is evolving into a unique, cohesive whole. No one knows in advance how it will ultimately sound – and thank goodness for that. FES has a knack for drawing a different sound from the orchestra with every project or album, and this time will be no different. Constant change as the norm. Mutating for self-preservation. Big Fun.
