Hopville beer festival

Hopville Bierfestival returns to the Citadel van Diest on June 27 and 28, 2026. Discover more than 130 craft beers at one of the most beautiful heritage locations in Flanders. In addition to beer tastings and beer talks, there is plenty of live music, culinary food, and a broad program for the whole family. The festival takes place in the Citadel van Diest, one of the most beautiful heritage locations in Flanders. Van Belgische classics to daring experiments: the organization selects breweries it respects, both well-known and lesser-known. The brewers are present themselves to explain their beers. Visitors can participate in beer tastings, beer talks, a beer quiz, and visit a pop-up beer museum . In addition to the extensive beer program, the event offers culinary delights, Hageland wines and ciders, cocktails, and many live concerts and street theater. Families are very welcome: for children, there is entertainment with play tables, LEGO, climbing wall, laser shoot, large soap bubbles, board games, and street theater.
