Together with scientist Zoë Ghyselinck, we investigate ecological and anticipatory grief: how do we mourn loss that is already announcing itself, but is not yet complete? Is there still hope, or must we learn to live with the possibility that seas, coasts, and ecosystems are irrevocably changing? An artist completes this conversation from imagination, body, image, or sound, and seeks how art can make space for grief, care, and action. A morning about vulnerability, the future, and what the sea emotionally asks of us.
