Creation - Dorian Dumont, Anthony Romaniuk & Dijf Sanders

PREMIERE Three musicians. Two pianos. One electronic universe in between. CCHA and B-Classic bring - after the creation with, among others, Kjartan Sveinsson van Sigur Rós from 2024 which tours Europe this autumn - another creation in which meeting is the starting point. Two exceptionally versatile pianists and an electronic multi-instrumentalist seek each other's boundaries and shift them. What emerges is not a sum, but an open workspace in which virtuosity, imagination, and sound research constantly challenge each other. Dorian Dumont, classically trained in Montpellier and formed in the Brussels jazz and improvisation scene, moves freely between genres. With projects like ECHT!, he explores the intersection of jazz, electronics, and hip-hop, while in his solo work he engages in a dialogue between piano playing and electronic logic (APHEXionS & to the AphEX, CCHA, 2024). Anthony Romaniuk (CCHA, 2023) developed a path that spans several centuries and performance practices. From historical keyboards to contemporary sound fields, from Bach to Ligeti and ambient, he combines a refined classical sensitivity with improvisational daring. His work constantly balances between repertoire and experiment, between precision and freedom. Dijf Sanders (CCHA, 2024) weaves field recordings, electronic textures, and organic rhythms into his music into a constantly evolving composition, fueled by influences from, among others, Indonesia, Nepal, and Vietnam.
