‘Com’post’ brings the timeless music of greats like Bach, Mozart, and Schumann to life, performed by pianist Florestan Bataillie and oboist Bram Nolf. This enchanting music is interwoven with personal and fictional letters that shed a surprising light on the famous composers and their work. Actrice Maaike Cafmeyer delivers these letters with her characteristic flair, addressed directly to the masters themselves. In doing so, she reveals a Groter Verhaal that goes beyond the notes on the page. In between, Maaike gives a glimpse into her own world in which you get to know a grandmother, a garden, and birds.
