'Winter's Whispering' lying-down concert

When the world slows down and winter lays its gentle silence over the landscape, we invite you to listen to what whispers beneath the surface. 'Winter’s Whispering' is a lying-down concert where you lie down comfortably and let yourself be enveloped by a refined soundscape. Warm didgeridoo sounds, subtle overtones of singing bowls, beautiful handpan sounds, sound tubes, and soft melodic accents of the harp. One by one, they flow together into a quieting winter journey. Just as frost slowly forms on a branch, each vibration unfolds with attention. The sounds invite stillness, slowing down, and coming home to your body. Tension may dissolve. Thoughts may quieten. What remains is space, breath, and clarity. Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, and possibly a pillow for your head. This way, you can fully enjoy this lying-down concert in complete comfort. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He has played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping.
