Summer walk "Solidarity then and now"

Is our social security 100 or 1000 years old? What did we do for our poor back then? When did the (precursors of) the OCMWs originate? How did we prevent orphans and foundlings from going down the wrong path? Were there employment projects back then? What about the elderly? Were there hospitals and how were they financed? How did the mutualities originate? Was it all out of solidarity and/or self-interest? Based on sometimes lighthearted, sometimes sad but always fascinating stories, you will know more about it after the walk and understand the current situation better.
