DAY TRIP with OKRA Groot Bijgaarden TO HOTEL SCHOOL Ter Duinen and Nieuwpoort

We will meet at the parking lot on the Gossetlaan in Groot Bijgaarden. Departure to Koksijde is at 9 a.m. At the hotel school Ter Duinen, we will be welcomed at 11 a.m. with a welcome drink. We will be given a presentation of the school, which has been the main supplier of Belgian star chefs since 1946. After a reception with Crémant, fruit juice, and appetizers, a guided tour of the kitchen will follow. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a 4-course gastronomic menu with matching wines, water, and coffee. The visit to Ter Duinen is scheduled to end around 3 p.m., and we will then drive to Nieuwpoort, the coastal town we have chosen to stroll along the promenade and enjoy the shops or the pleasant sea air. For some of us, this may mean sitting on a terrace. Our bus will be back at the drop-off point in Nieuwpoort at 5:45 p.m. to start the return journey.
