Holly Golightly is a charming woman in New York who lets herself be kept
by rich men and dreams of Tiffany's. Without realizing it, she helps a criminal via messages in prison.
She lives alone with her cat and often fights with her landlord.
When writer Paul Varjak becomes her neighbor, they grow closer. Yet Holly wants to find a rich man, while Paul is poor.
Her past appears in the form of her ex-husband, whom she rejects.
Although their bond grows stronger, Holly chooses a rich Brazilian.
After an arrest, he drops her. During an argument, Holly puts her
cat on the street, but realizes afterward that Paul is the only one who really cares
about her. She looks for him and her cat, after which they finally
kiss.
