Cairn Consort, the new ensemble of
gambist Salomé Gasselin, brings a
daring encounter between the music of
Keith Jarrett and that of Henry Purcell. The four
string players of the viola da gamba consort let
their sounds merge with the electric
guitar and zarb of Kevin Seddiki. From the
improvisation of Jarrett and the fantasies of
Purcell, a new universe is created. A
wonderful finale of ten days of music.
