In WOOD, participants go on a journey of discovery to a prehistoric time that simultaneously feels surprisingly futuristic and where nothing is what it seems! Kunstenaars Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert take you to a place where the boundary between the real and the virtual blurs. You start together with a tea ritual, after which you step into another reality. There you let yourself be guided by Robbert&Frank, your fellow travelers, and your own intuition. Who or what are you in this new place? The answer only unfolds when you dare to take the first step (literally) yourself. Because only by moving do you discover what is possible in this wonderful world. Together with your fellow travelers, you explore a shared, almost magical reality. WOOD is the third part of Table Dialogues, a series of five performances inspired by the Chinese five-element theory Wǔxíng about earth, water, wood, fire, and metal.
