Johnny MUS: Surplace

A woman and a man are in the middle of life. Too old to be young anymore. Too young to accept that nothing is possible and nothing is necessary anymore. Surplace like in the race: balancing on the pedals, you are in full motion but you are no longer moving forward. In Surplace make Mieke Laureys (Johnny MUS) and Danny Ronaldo (Circus Ronaldo) together the balance. Two players share their love for the small stories behind the human in a duet of tenderness, humor, and recognition. Live music weaves through their play, comfortingly lifts the memories, or perhaps just lights the fire again. Surplace is about balancing between yesterday and tomorrow, melancholy and desire, dreams and reality. An ode to being on the way and the art of letting go. At 7:15 PM, the performance will be introduced. Participation is free. Registration is not necessary.
