Film Screening Rinus Van de Velde

Finissageweekend Abby & Friends Kunstenaar Rinus Van de Velde presents his two most recent films, La Ruta Natural and A Life in a Day. As a finissage of the Living van Rinus Van de Velde, both films will be shown with live musical accompaniment by composer and multi-instrumentalist Joachim Badenhorst, who also composed the original music for the films. For this special occasion, Badenhorst goes a step further and brings cellist Jasmijn Lootens along. Together they bring the soundtrack to life live, in direct dialogue with Van de Veldes cinematic universe. This unique presentation highlights the interaction between image and music and offers a new perspective on the artist's work.
