Innerplay - The Uprising

Innerplay returns to Sint-Truiden with its most ambitious edition to date. The Uprising is a full concert production that lifts the boundaries between music, visual art, and storytelling. And is developed specifically for the architecture and acoustics of the Academiezaal on the abbey site. On stage are SØRN, the project of Tom Hades, Jolan Renson, and Soren Aalberg, and Dimitri Andreas. Visual artist TheLooca provides the mapping projections and live visuals that bring the space to life. Together, they build an evening that goes beyond a classical concert: spatial audio envelops the audience from multiple directions, while custom-developed light sequences and projections transform the historical hall into a living set. The audience thus becomes not a passive spectator, but an active part of an immersive audiovisual experience. Innerplay – The Uprising takes place on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October at 8:30 PM in the Academiezaal, Plankstraat 18, Sint-Truiden. There is also a special, adapted performance for people with a disability on Friday 30 October at 1:30 PM (€8/pp). Innerplay – The Uprising is part of the Trudofeesten 2026, with support from Stad Sint-Truiden and Cera.
