Album presentation "Een heel leven" (A whole life), by Stoomboot

After 10 years on stage, Niels Boutsen thought: "What now?". Another record? Certainly. He called Tuur Florizoone (accordion) and Christophe Devisscher (double bass), two musicians he had always wanted to work with and whom he had watched with admiration on all kinds of stages over the years. Did they want to make something together? Yes, indeed. Een heel leven (A Whole Life) is once again a concept album. This time about the unfathomable paths of existence. The title gives a lot away: a musical walk along what Niels' life could have been, but didn't become at all. Sometimes choices that don't seem like choices weigh much heavier than expected.
