10 years ago, the Limburgers of DeGeest scored a number 1 hit with their single ‘Maan’. Late last year, the song was re-released to celebrate their anniversary. But the band is much more than just the song ‘Maan’. DeGeest has since become a well-oiled live band, which is not afraid to walk other paths. Zanger Geert Vanloffelt does not just write songs for his own band. He also regularly writes lyrics for other Flemish artists such as Metejoor, Niels Destadsbader, Willy Sommers, and Cleymans & Van Geel. Especially for this theater tour, DeGeest puts a selection of these songs in a new jacket.
