At the edges of the factory

Touring the former Audi factory (created by D'Ieteren in 1948) and the railway site that adjoins it would take several hours: this complex occupies more than 10% of the territory of Forest. By walking along part of it, we will evoke its links with the abbey and the ancestral village of Forest, the flood-prone nature of this valley crossed by the Geleytsbeek, as well as the successive transformations of the territory. Annie Richard, from the Forest History Circle, and Birgit Peters, who worked inside the walls of Audi Brussels, will be our guides.
