The mysterious gaze of the flamingo

At the beginning of the 1980s, in a mining town in the Chilean desert, 11-year-old Lidia grows up in a queer family that has found refuge in a cabaret. A deadly disease then spreads through the community, and a rumor claims that it is transmitted by a simple look between two men.
