Literary walk to the Zandkasteel van Achilles Cools

Have you ever visited artist and nature philosopher Achilles Cools? The so-called ‘Sandcastle’ of Cools is located in the nature reserve and has a special architecture and a small heath garden where there are also many artworks by Cools himself and his wife Brénine. Anyone who hasn't been there yet must definitely see this! The walk starts at the visitor center of Landschap De Liereman and is approximately 3 km. Afterwards, Cools will welcome you to his domain for a tour. Anyone who participates in this walk will also receive a copy of the book 'De Liereman'. At the writer's home, there is the opportunity to have the novel signed and to ask questions. An exceptional experience! Unfortunately, dogs cannot come along.
