OKAPI is an interactive, musical performance for the very youngest, an ever-changing and meandering landscape molded from sound, movement, and clay.
For his latest creation, Klankennest was inspired by early baroque music, the sound, the texture, and the endless play possibilities of clay.
Sounds and visual aspects are formed by unique clay sculptures. The sculptures were made especially for this performance. They are landmarks in a landscape of natural clay that constantly changes in sound and appearance through playful manipulation by performers and the audience.
The stage, in the shape of a lemniscate, supports that thought of infinite transformation: sound and movement flow without boundaries, like an echo of the endless way of playing and discovering.
