This workshop offers you an approach to contemporary lace for its lightness, transparency, finesse, and freedom of expression. Throughout the sessions, you will grasp the basis of the lace technique through the study of various stitches and through the discovery of traditional thread at the same time as other materials such as paper, metallic thread, plants... From these technical acquisitions, everyone will experiment with the technique through the personal or collective choice of materials, shapes, formats, colors and will be led to explore and develop concepts and themes. Material to bring: in order to be creative from the first moments, we invite you to bring the following material: box of pins, sewing threads of different colors, a pair of scissors, various threads of your choice (fancy) (optional).
