Under the guidance of an expert miller, you can visit the Wullepitmolen.
This standard mill, built on four brick cubes, is a 17th-century mill. It was erected in Zerkegem in 1623 and moved to Zarren in 1923. It was rebuilt on the same ‘hill’ where the old Zarren-Linde mill (first mentions around 1639) was destroyed by an artillery direct hit during the Eerste Wereldoorlog. This relocated wooden mill had only a short milling career: from 1949 it was already taken out of service. The activities were taken over until 1967 by the new mill, which was built next to the windmill.
