August '22, Meadow, a Herent DJ festival organized by a group of enthusiastic twenty-somethings that grew into a super event for the youth in a few years, where older people were also perfectly welcome to feel at home, experienced its last edition. A pity, a great pity... Some of those older people, fathers of the group of enthusiastic twenty-somethings, thought so too. “And what if we take it over ourselves...?” What started as a joke has now become reality. The concept was adjusted slightly, less DJ, more live, the location was adjusted, but the ambition was just as great: a cozy neighborhood festival for young and old...
